Manage your Netflix Queue directly from FeedFlix

04 Jun

feedflix-manage-queue Hi everyone – we wanted to announce a feature that we put into production earlier this week and something that several users have used already: managing your NF queue without leaving FeedFlix.

On every movie detail page you’ll see an option to Add to your DVD Queue. If it’s already in your Queue, you can choose to move it to the top or to delete it. And, if the title is available via Streaming/IW, you’ll be given the option to add it to your Instant Queue.

Just hit the ‘Add’ button and we’ll both add the title to your Queue and refresh your FeedFlix page with the change. No need to go to the Netflix page to add or delete titles in your queue any more.

Do hit us up in the comments with any comments or feedback on this feature.

I don’t like it. When I click on the name of a movie, I want to go directly to its page on Netflix, not to a summary page on FeedFlix that just regurgitates the Netflix page’s contents.

At the very, very least, on each of those FF summary pages, I’d like to see a link at the top to “go to this movie’s page on Netflix.”

I have Greasemonkey scripts installed (for example, pulling each movie’s rating from Rotton Tomatoes) that work on Netflix but not FeedFlix.

    Hi Kat,

That’s fair criticism. From now on the FeedFlix page will contain a link to the Netflix page for that title – the link is right under the box art and is easily found. We’ll still keep the FF summary page because we have other plans for the content there. As it stands now it might not be a whole lot different from the NF page but you’ll start to see differences – and soon. I hope this works for both you and us.

Having said that, I don’t see why your Greasemonkey scripts shouldn’t work – largely unchanged – on FeedFliks as well.

Thanks, that is great news. I’ll tinker with the GM scripts and see what they can do.

And Rotten Tomatoes – I really can spell.

How do we leave a suggestion for Netflix? I’ve searched all over their website, and it’s as if they don’t WANT suggestions!

Miriam Gaddis: Yeah, at times it seems like that but I’ve found them to be a pretty open bunch and happy to listen to suggestions. One avenue I’d suggest is Twitter. They are on Twitter at so if you just sent a tweet @netflix they are sure to read it – and I’ve seen them respond very often too. Their customer support can be reached @ 866-716-0414 24 hrs a day

    Hope this helps,
